Along the way, Dennis acquired training in EMDR, psychodrama, smoking cessation, compulsive gambling, trauma resolution, intimacy disorders and specialization in the treatment of substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
In addition, Dennis is credentialed with the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and completed Level One Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. He received mentorship under David Myers, M.D, FASAM, CAP, one of Florida’s pioneers in addiction treatment, and specialized in the treatment of licensed health care professionals referred by various state Physician Health Programs.
